Organic
There’s something very organic about structures like this. Does anyone else just think ‘tentacles’ when you see this? Maybe it’s just me. But this is certainly not an organic thing… it’s the centrepiece to a water-feature inside the Mohegan Sun casino!
Yup, my adventure in the States included a visit to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods – a pair of casinos very close to each other, both in Connecticut, that are both absolutely massive… I’m reliably informed that the Foxwoods Resort is the largest casino in North America in terms of the square footage, and also has the highest number of slot machines (6,300 according to Wikipedia) in the world! Walking around it, I certainly got that impression..!
Unfortunately, readers, I did not manage to ‘break the bank’. No millions of dollars won, but came away only 10 bucks or so down. Both buildings are very impressive and well worth a visit if you’re passing by – even if it’s just to take in the atmosphere!
Perhaps next time, I’ll put it all on red.
